Non adjustable? If you swap to a double cardan, you'll need the adjustability to rotate the pinion up. What's shot, Johnny's or the other end bushing. Should be able to source new ones.

My upper links, rubber looking like its cracking/splitting.
On that link, he shows you can do a dbl Jonny or what you want offset. Supposedly has 3/16 added in length. I could shorten my MT lowers also.


Edit, been getting a thunk from that area a lot lately.

Guess I been ripping them up with the flex now.

A few weeks ago, [MENTION=148378]Dobinsons Mike[/MENTION] reached out to me about Dobinsons having a new, even heavier HD rear LT spring for the 4Runner. The specs are as follows;

• C59-749V - Variable Rate
• Raised Height (75mm Lift)
• 400Kg Constant Load

I will be replacing the C59-701V I am currently running. The issue I have been having is with all the weight, rear bumper, armor, rear storage drawers, spare tire, tools, plus anything else I load up, I hit the bump stops while just going down the road. Yesterday I swapped in the springs as well as added read diff armor.

Did you regain enough height and stiffness to avoid hitting your bumps? Just added my rear bumper last week and am sagging on my other Dobs progressive coils (also have a 34" spare, trekboxx, RTT, fridge)...not even fully loaded yet.

After the install, I am sitting at about an additional 1". Right now with the 315's, I am at 42" from ground to fender. With the very short drive, could tell there was more stiffness, in a good way.

That's awesome, just what I wanted to hear! 315's are next once these 305's are worn a little more...Currently welding on my TC spindle gussets and cam tabs. KDSS soon to be completely deleted.

Nice! One day, I should rip out the entire KDSS system. I really have ZERO plans to ever put back the sway bars. I just do not feel like removing the 4X4Labs sliders to do it. That, and having the annoying light on the dash.

What's the measurement from center of your rear wheel to bottom of the fender? I'm still on 34's so just trying to get an idea what i'd be at with those coils.

With only a half a cup of coffee yet this morning, my fast measurement if 26". I can break out the laser later and get a precise measurement later.

I like the rear diff armor.

I’m getting ready to replace my Icon Overland rear springs for the 701’s. It sounds like we have a similar set up. I hope I’m not wasting my time...

Finally broke down and bought and ARB 2500 awning. I also got the ARB mounting brackets even though I wasn't sure how they would work on the Drabbits rack. When the bracket arrived, my thoughts were confirmed and I quickly returned them for a refund (thanks Amazon). I have seen some home brew, hardware store monstrosities that I would be embarrassed to have seen on my truck. So I broke out some graph and iso paper and designed my own. Since I don't have [MENTION=145287]atchcraft[/MENTION] 's skills or fab tool selection, I decided to have these fabbed up here at a local shop. Now to powder coat and install.

You've already made your mounts, but for tubular racks, Four Treks mounts can't be beat. Not cheap, but they are bombproof. LINKY

I use them for my awning, shovel and Hi-Lift

Those are pretty nice looking. IF those are bomb proof, the ones I had made must be nuke proof.

[MENTION=145287]atchcraft[/MENTION] was in the area for some work training so we met up and talked 4Runners, wheeling and all that fun stuff while enjoying some good beer. I was a pleasure sir. Look forward to meeting up on a trail run this year!

I have had Alvarado St. before. Good beer as well.
