I see several familiar names popping up. I hear people talking about their experiences with the FJC. I was wanting to see if I could find more. So who is all here.

Traded my fjc for a t4r last month. I miss the heck out of my fjc but I had an itch for the 4runner and once I test drove it I knew I had to have it. I actually saw my old fjc a couple of days ago on the road. It was a bitter sweet moment.

I've seen mine 2 times... Makes me sad, I feel your pain, but it does get better over time

Yup. '07 FJC TRD => '11 F150 FX4 => '15 T4R TEP. Feel like I'm home again, but a bit grown up.

Yup .. I'm a recent convert as well . 07 Black Cherry 6mt .. Small mods to make it cool . Tint , 5100's , sway bars , that damn traction control hack which I loved ! ........

Had an '07, moved onto a 4th and then a 5th gen T4R. I loved the thing but love my 5th even more.

Great vehicle, wanted a bit more space and ease of access with the 4 doors.

07 bought new loved it but kids and dogs and camping it was to small

had a lot of mods on it but this time around going less mod heavy keeping mileage up more etc...

miss it but figure I missed my FJ40 even more so life goes on to new and better rigs

I was in the same boat as above. Went from '07 FJ with 95,000 miles to used 2014 4runner with 18,000 miles. The FJ was lightly modded (small spacer lift, 285 AT tires, etc) but just wasn't cutting anymore with an addition to the family, dog, camping, etc. Just too small and impractical. Trading it in was like losing a family member but the 4runner has yet to dissapoint. Not as much character and the stereo is no where near as good but everything else it excels at. Must resist modding the 4runner for as long as possible........

Damn thing ate through three T/O bearings.

Traded it for my TE.

Looked like a Port-O-John on wheels.

MT sucks off road.

I miss her but I'm loving the new 4R.

Have an 07 that I picked up in Jan 07. That I let my son use as his first car. Picked up the 4 Runner in January of this year. Still love my FJ even with 130,000 miles.

I came from a mostly stock '10 FJC to a used '14 TE. I had zero issues with my FJC, but the lack of storage, backseat space, and laughable range were the kickers for me. My new TE checks all the boxes that the FJC was missing, but its just not as good looking/funky as my old FJC was.

I did. Handed my '07 FJ to my college aged son and bought a '10 LE with only 20k miles. Like the LE's smoothness and room but miss the FJ.
