Rotors and Shocks Upgrade Recommendations

Hi,

Relatively new 3rd Gen owner looking for some opinions on what I've found or other recommendations.

Rotors:
I'm doing the Tundra upgrade and already bought some S13WE calipers. Looking for recommendation for a rotors. Don't need anything extreme, but decent quality. These are what I've been looking at: Tundra Performance Rotors Cermaic Pads Harmonic Balancing Design Front S13WE | eBay

Shocks:
Also thinking about replacing the stock shocks. It rides and handles fine on smooth roads, but it get serious bouncy on anything rough - like there's very little rebound damping going on. Again, not looking for anything extreme. Just something that will help smooth out the unbelievably shitty New York City roads! There really is no need for slotted drilled rotors, they look cool. The pads are good but not the ones i would go with. Those are centric 103 series and are ok but will wear faster and leave more brake dust. I recommend centric posiquiet 105 or 106 extended wear pads. I am running the 106 extrended wear in my 4runner with stock brakes and they work great. I run the 105 pads on my 98 civic and my wifes 04 alero. No issues ever with them, they come with new shims and hardware, no squeaks and a life time warranty so i never need to by pads again for any of my vehicles, 103 pads have no new hardware and no lifetime warranty.
Those shocks are great i would not think twice about going with them. Bilstien are oem shocks on many toyota trucks and suv's. If you want a shock that is a little cheaper and just as good, nice ride off road and lxife time warrany look at kyb gas a just shocks. I have them for now and i like them. Not sure if the Bilstiens have a lifetime warrany or not.

I'm running Tundra 199mm all new Toyota OEM everything and it's been way more than enough for me. No issues aside from a slight squeak until the pads warm up but that may be because I didn't install the shims, just kind of forgot and didn't feel like back tracking.

I use to run slotted rotors on my BMW. Yes they did dispense heat better during hard breaking but you also have less surface area and you go through pads faster. If you buy cheap drilled rotors they will crack since they are drilled holes not cast.

Just get regular rotors they will be fine, this isn't a race truck. Spend the money on better quality pads I always ran HAWK pads and loved them, huge improvement over stock.

All OEM toyota parts for me and absolute love it!!!! These trucks are not race cars or heavy haulers....no need for drilled and slotted rotors, just eats up your brake pad faster!!!

I have those same shocks on my 4Runner. Much better handling, much less wallowing on the highway, and over the stock shocks it feels like you added sway bars, compared to the stock. Much more controlled feeling, and when you hit transition sections on bridges, more solid feel.

I used hawk pads for years and loved them but not the price and no lifetime replacement warranty. When I switched to the centric posiquiet 105 pads i had thought i would have some reduced brake performance but nope they perform just as well as the more expensive hawk pads do.
