Rough Country 3 Inch Lift?

I'm thinking of getting a lift and saw that Rough Country made a lift for the 4Runner. I want to know your opinion and want to know anyone running this rough country lift. I want a less expensive lift for now until I actually upgrade to a toytec unless I can find a toytec lift for cheap. It was either this Rough Country lift or a Daystar 2.5/1.5.

Ive done my research on this kit and the only negatives to it is the rear shocks are stiff/rough riding and its not a good balance between front and rear. The front will feel like stock rife while the rear will be stiff.

Thanks. Do you think I should get Daystar 2.5/1.5? I've read where some people near 100k mile only get 2.5 front and 1.5 back. Or the Toytec spacer and springs

I would suggest billie 5100's front @2.5 setting with maybe some toytec 1/4 top spacers to get the 3". and some 1.5 spacers for rear. Or better yet some matching billie shocks in rear with 2" coils.

Whatever kit that is you posted i would search it in here. Im not familiar with it. You should get whatever kit best suites your needs. A spacer lift will not give you anymore travel then stock. But if your just looking for a gain in height then a spacer lift is all you'd need

Thats the setup i went with. 1/4 toytec front spacers And a 2" spacer in the rear. Have yet to install it. I Was going to suggest it to him but he said he wanted to stay cheaper on it. I spent a little over $400 on the 5100's and spacers.

If youre in the north of $300 mark

then just consider a spring lift using OME coils. its a better lift then coils and/or spacers. And you arent dealing in used coils.

I bought this lift too and it came in a few days ago. I have yet to install it though. From opening the package it seems like good quality. Everyone always talks down about RC but I see nothing wrong with their products.

It looks way higher and the ride is awesome. I am going to get a diff drop kit though to keep stuff from breaking! I love it! These are with 30 inch tires I'm going to put on 285/75r16 next week.

Yeah same exact lift you will get the same height and the parts are just like what came with mine. : )
