Did any of you have the xreas system originally? The web site says it isn't compatible, but what is the difference? Anyone know what is involved in removing the xreas?

to install a lift on a runner with Xreas you need to remove all xreas components. shocks, fluid, fluid lines. the whole shebang. its not hard just time.

A lot of people do talk down about RC. Its usually the people that dont run it or spent more money on a expensive lift cause its what everyone else runs.. People tried to talk me out of the 3" RC lift on my jeep but i got it and loved it. Would have tried it on my 4runner but i have xreas. Glad to hear positive things about them on the 4runners cause all ive read was like i said before.. Bad balance front to rear cause of using stock front shocks and RC's lift springs and Struts in the rear.. Finally a good review for them.

Yeah I want to get a rough country but I've decided to do it right the first time and get the 3inch lift with bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks for 900. I haven't bought it yet because I'm waiting for a sale. Rough country also provides a 90 day satisfaction guarantee but shipping is 22 and then I'm going to get someone to install it for me which will cost extra.

Nice choice ....I had the same kit installed with coilovers in the front it's a great kit and the car drives great

I would suggest billie 5100's front @2.5 setting with maybe some toytec 1/4 top spacers to get the 3". and some 1.5 spacers for rear. Or better yet some matching billie shocks in rear with 2" coils.

The 5100 is the adjustable part for the front anyway, you can set it to 0 lift, .85 inch lift, 1.75 inch lift and 2.5 inch lift, Google 5100 and you will see the differences. The rear 5100 are non adjustable.

First time posting, sorry i’m 4 years late haha. Got my 2018 4Runner back from the dealership today. Love the look of the 3” RC lift. I’m posting this because I did so much research on the forums before pulling the trigger. Little scrub, but i’m doing the fender mod tomorrow.

3” RC Lift
1.25” wheel spacers
285/70/17 Ko2’s
