I hope the airflow tests come back Negative on the air max and they go back to the regular slimmer design. Way too large for my taste.

They should have just taken the prado design. Slightly tweaked the fit so there isn't any gaps. It would have saved a great deal of time and looked 1000000 times better. God dammit safari

Snorkel Looks fine to be, I am with the others that It seems to stick out a touch more then desired but if its like most other modifications I have done they seem to look better in person then via photo.

.......and how has no one mentioned the hand...... It think it would go perfect with my jack storage compartment cover

Snorkel is not the best looking thing on a truck and helps you gain the status of a "douche" unless you background is wilderness 99% of the time, however the functionality is there....but then one of the most reputable manufacturers with tools/finances/experience comes out with that? :wtf:

How about making a "slim" design complimenting the look of the 4Runner in 2015? I don't see Armor or Roof Rack manufacturers going all bulky and tank like, everything is tucked in/slim/lightweight and I believe that's what most of us are looking for. How about something like this that could be color matches to the vehicle?

Personally I think it looks good. I have a fully built rig so I dont think it will look out of place or "douchey" on my rig. I'll be the guine pig and buy the first one.

- For those with concerns with the size of the unit and comparing it to the Prado snorkel- be advise this is a different product in their snorkel range. It is the ARMAX it increases airflow, so it's larger.......

so, reading through the ARMAX info on the Safari site, they say that the ARMAX line is specifically designed to increase airflow on diesel vehicles...

Did we get a diesel option that I don't know about? Cause that would be a much bigger deal than a snorkel

It's going to look awesome on my truck, and I'm going to stop sweating every water crossing over 4 inches once I get things sealed up.

I'm not worried myself. Yes it's a little chunky, but the looser the waistband the deeper the quicksand...
