SC Intercooler pump relocation for winch

I have a Magnuson supercharger installed and was working on installing a SSO slimline front bumper with X20 12K winch. Was almost done until I realized the bumper won't fit due to intercooler pump.

I need to relocate the pump tomorrow. I am wondering if I can mount it vertical instead of horizontal and about 3" above the bottom radiator spigot?

I don't see why not... but wanted to make sure before I do this...

Wherever you relocate it to, I would try to keep it lying in the same orientation. Some pumps are sensitive to how they're positioned horizontally or vertically. If you google the p/n for the specific pump you have, you may able to find some documentation to confirm this.

Did you ever end up relocating or adjusting the intercooler pump for the winch install? If so, what route did you go?

I'm also curious if anyone has ever relocated the intercooler reservoir located on the driver side near the brake fluid reservoir? I want to install a compressor using one of various brackets on the market yet the intercooler reservoir is in the way.

Yes. Relocated it exactly where you mentioned. Photo may be in my build thread under ultimate mall crawler build. Toyota is in shop this week so can’t take another photo.

I’m about to do my SC installed. Interested in how you installed the inter cooler pump as well. Would love to see a pic if you get a chance. Also did you change the orientation? Thanks
Installing a C4 lo pro right after the SC.

I searched other Toyota SC installation instructions and came across the 2005-2015 Tacoma 4.0L version. This one uses body mount holes instead of the brake lift for the reservoir bracket. I believe the 4runner also has the holes. I can't seem to find the bracket anywhere to buy though.

Try sending an email to Magnuson, they may sell you that mount. I’m gonna do that as well so I have more space in the future for a switch pro. Right now I’m more concerned about the winch and how much clearance I’m gonna have with the C4 Lo Pro :noidea:

Are you trying to relocate the pump or the reservoir??

Sorry for bringing up a thread from the dead. I came across this thread to see what info I could find since I'm about to install a low profile bumper and winch and already have a Maggie installed. Could any of you post a picture of what/where you relocated and mounted your Maggie intercooler pump? Looks like the winch on pretty much all of the various low profile bumpers will sit where the intercooler pump is
