Where is the best place to pick one of these up? Does leaving it plugged in all the time run the risk of draining the 4R battery?

I did a quick search because I'm interested in getting one too now.

These guys were the only ones that sell cheaper obd2-scanner.com but they are from Shanghai, China... sooo can't expect anything for at least 2 weeks.

Everywhere else is I could find is $159.95

It goes to sleep when the engine isn't running. Even if it was on full time it would probably take a week to kill the awesome for stock battery that comes with your 4Runner.

Mine is showing horse power, intake air temp, MPG, and MACH number.

I would think twice about ordering one from China unless you know the firmware edition. The reason being ,the newer firmware that can read Toyota transmission temps and it can only be updated by Scangauge themselves if it's the older model.

Check with them as all the new ones sold here should be updated......however the ones coming from China is unknown.Well worth the extra $20 to be able to read the tranny temp IMO

Edit: Here is the info on the firmware update so you can have it updated for free if bought after 1/11,just have to send it in........http://www.scangauge.com/support/upgrade/
I need to send mine in to update it!
