Seat Swap Research Begins...

I have a 2012 limited and 2019 ORP. I don't find the seats that much different. I liked the seats in my '19 as they fit me well at 5'9" and around 160#.
I've removed my seats and they are up for sale as I search for a replacement that will hold me better in the seat when rock crawling as the stock seats are not great from that aspect despite my 4 point harness.

I just wish there was a solution to my driver’s side bolster coming apart like the old 97 3rd gen…Searching is what brought me to this post. I need to repair or replace before it completely starts coming apart. The new Sequoia TRD Pro seats appear beefier, but obviously won’t fit. I wish those covers and more robust side bolster foam was available.

Try looking on Ebay for a good used one.
I can't make a new subject since I am a new user.
So I would like to just replace the bottom OEM softex skin on the drivers seat. They are beige, but the beige wore through, and black is showing, that looks like a dirty seat. There seemed to be a ton of seat covers on ebay, but all I need is the bottom, unless Ii could do both front seats in a breathable beige leather. I wanted to replace the bottom skin or whole seat skins , not cover over the existing softex.
Anyway and links or experience appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 13' TE, with 173k. The driver side seat is worn out. You can see foam dust underweight the seat because the cushion is breaking down. I'm in the market for a replacement or a rebuild. I think a set of TRD seats would be nice.
I'm looking for a clean solution. A new seat cushion is like $200. The fabric is still good but I thought it might be time for my baby to get some new threads, perhaps even add heated seats.
anybody been down this road? Did you swap in some TRD seats? Do a rebuild with Katzkin covers? Thoughts?

Thanks for thinking of us. We've solved all of the driver side issues and now working in finishing up the passenger side. We have a pressure pad to work with/around

On Saturday we got a message from our first adopter for the scheel-mann Vario seats into his 2016 5th Gen 4runner. Now we go to great lengths to get things done right before going out to customers. But every now and then we hit a sanfu. This time and one other previous time was because there was a model feature that we just didn't know existed. In the case of this 5th Gen 4Runner it was the fact that his 2016 Limited had a seat memory function that we just didn't know or anticipate to find in a non-Lexus offering.
We were supplied with a few critical photos of his setup and we were off to the races. Being as it was a Saturday there isn't much we could do other than to research. Come Monday (yesterday) we had the solution in hand because luckily that same connector has several uses in Toyota's ecosystem so finding it was a success. Luckily again we actually stock the correct Toyota terminal to make this a successful adapter harness.
Now we are not showing this because we plan on making it a product, it actually will never be a product. Mainly because since we have now identified the variance we can do final harness connector assembly at the time of the customer order.
But for this customer we have a solution in hand and it was shipped out yesterday. Plug-n-play.
