Hot spots aren't too bad. I'm happy with the outcome. I plan on backlighting all door handles and window switches. I am also going to install courtesy lights in the kick panels.

2x4 ?!!

Looking at your rig it sure doesn't look like a 2x !! Great job with the dash lights I've been wanting to do this myself but I can't decide which road to go down between led supplier and color. I also get discouraged by the number of people that report bulb failure not long after. My '98 original greens are still glowing with no burn out. Just the ugly green.....

Thanks. I appreciate it. I like the look of the interior in my friend's 2014 runner with the blue and white against the silver.

I bought all of the lights from superbrightleds.com. I only replaced the 3 gauge lights in the instrument cluster and moved the bulb from L to D in the shift indicator section because the D was looking dim.

Nope. None at all. I raised it up another notch to the middle of the Billstein shocks to level it more while I was replacing a leaking shock and it rides considerably rougher, but not terrible.
