She doesn't fit in the garage anymore

Did the shop mention anything of any slow ups with the install with KDSS? I got my front end pulled apart this weekend to get mine installed, but with the spacers on up front, I cannot get the sway bar to line back up. Any suggestions?

what's the minimum height of your garage? and your new max height of the 4Runner?

Haven't measured the height of my garage or to the top of the truck. With the lift and tires I am sitting around 38.5"-39.5" from ground to fender.

Nope, just took my installer an extra hour or two as it was a little more difficult than he expected. If you want, pm me and I will forward you his contact info. I'm sure he would help you out via phone. Just let me know...

No, I just had the front end sitting on jack stands. Would that prevent the front sway bars from being able to line back up?

afaik you should get the whole truck off the ground so that the kdss can equalize or whatever.

remember reading it somewhere that it'd make the install easier.

i say give it a shot, try lifting the truck with all 4 tires off the ground and see if it helps any.

Thanks for all of the help from everyone. It did was jca21 mentioned and it worked. It for sure made it alot easier to put the sway bars back in place. After that, it was just patience with doing everything right. It took right about 4 hours including a trip to the local autozone to rent a spring compressor to help ease the rear springs back in with the spacers. Now, unfortunately I have to drive around on stock tires a little while longer while I put away some money for some new shoes. Also, I need an alignment.

Agreed ya need some new shoes them Dunflops just aint gonna cut it. You could steel them BFG's of the Jeep to hold you over til ya get some cash. :naughty:

I wish I could!! If it weren't for them having a 15in diameter I might have tried that. haha
