Should I be worried about my cv boots?

I have bilstein 6112 set to the highest setting (2.5 lift) with the toytec .5 spacer to get the full 3inch lift

The CV angle is obviously out of spec, but I run them like this and it's never been a problem for the boots. If anything, I would be worried about the joint inside the boot, but you can't really have a suspension lift without angles like this, so you kinda just have to grin and bear it.

I'd be willing to bet you have more than 2 1/2" of lift with the 5th Circlip groove on the 6112.
Plus another 1/2" with the Toytec 1/4" spacer (gives you 1/2" of lift)

The middle or 3rd Circlip groove will net you 2" of lift alone!

Ask me how I know.

Check if the tire turns free at full droop , if it locks or tightens up in certain places when rotating you need a diff drop for sure

Why does this site continue to have the same question with the same misinformation. No diff drop possible that will make any difference.

Can you tell by the look of the uni- ball if it's on full droop?

Yes, due to the way the diff mounts in the 120/150 platform. It cannot be dropped only angled by spacing down the front mounts (unless you chopped the cross member out and started over to lower the rear).

The kits do lower output shaft position by a very small amount, but I think we are talking ~ 1mm or so. Not enough to see a visual difference.

Two things I don't like about diff drops on these trucks.
1. It changes the pinion angle. Not enough to make a real difference but why not keep it straight on...

2. It could allow for more deflection in the mounts. Again, not enough to worry about much, but why risk it for no gain in CV angles.
