Your right,they are the same given they updated the engine, terrain response, nav system, brakes, refreshed the front and rear and the whole interior but it's the same...you're so right since the shape of the truck is the same and cars dotcom knows all.:lol:

Since I actually own the vehicle and did my own actual extensive research and didn't just leave it to cars dotcom to tell me the difference, I think I know what I'm talking about.

Again, for the 3rd time, the original post that I commented on was asking about both onroad and offroad in the same class. I stated my opinion and also qualified that the lr4's reliability will probably not be better than 4runner. I think we have established that last point pretty well now, don't you think?

I'm sure you will google more now or talk to your lr3 friend to bring more "authoritative" info to enlighten me.

They are asking $31700

That sounds like a great price for a new 2011 4Runner. Is it a Demo? And there are alot of 2011 4Runners here in CT. I just picked one up about 3 weeks ago. Got the color I wanted too. You want a 2012 you will have to fork over an extra grand and less room for negotiations. What's the MSRP on the truck?
