Should I swap limited wheels and tires for SR5 ones?

Coming from a multi jeep wrangler owner and swapping wheels, previous sr5 owner and LE owner as of today , don't sell the 20s. If you want better wheels to wheel it, keep the stocks for resale.

98% of buyers and dealers will want an LE to have the stock wheels. Otherwise it looks like an SR5 with a limited badge. I know they are hard to store but you can still use the original spare and just store 4. For 500 bucks it isn't worth the hit to the value of a 40k LE.

Unless you are sure you will keep it forever. I keep vehicles a couple of years.

I would do the wheels. I tried but couldn't get my dealer to swap for TE wheels. I do think the 20's had a decent ride and maybe a bit better milage (only used them for 800 miles) for long stretches of flat smooth asphalt. But I switched to gunmetal FJ 17's (on WBP) and Silent Armor Pro's and love the ride, handling and control. I don't miss the 20's. IMO they look much better too.
In terms of the running boards vs sliders try to find one to look at and step on as some find them a bit trickery to use BC as steps.

FJ Wheels on 2011 LE

Like others suggested, go with the 17 x 7.5 FJ/TE wheels. I prefer the darker color over the 4Runner TE wheels.

I sold my 20" wheels and tires locally for $800 and purchased this new set locally, with less miles on the tires, also for $800 (including spare). With the FJ wheels, my rig is not as responsive with the turns as with the 20s but the ride is slightly softer and I'm not as concerned with pot holes and curbs. I love the look of the wider wheels and tires and now have a wide variety of AT tire options when I'm ready to replace them. I'm glad I made the switch. :thumb3:

Is the dealer offering you a credit for future parts and services, or a credit on the sales price of your new 13' LE?

If the credit is for future parts and service it doesn't seem like much of a deal. You will have Toyota Care for 2 years, so unless you have some dealer parts you want it will be 2 years before you see that benefit.

I would ask them to cut you a check for $500, and throw in an alignment.

I don't think we have Toyota Care in Canada, that would be nice though. For some reason, I don't have limited badge on mine, guess that's another Canadian thing. Anyway, here's a pic with the new wheels, now I just need to get rid of the running boards.
