Thats because I don't have the option to keep what I have :)
Very interesting OPTIONS,
Having Highlander V6 to compare with 4Runner V8.
Don't see the point.

How about this one? This is from the Sema show. It is the new Toyota Rav 4. V-6 269 hp.

LMAO, I wish I could have a pink truck!

No Rav4, too small. That one looks nice, I just think it will be too small for my liking. LOVE the colour though!

I have decided that I won't go for a Highlander, although I really like the leather in it compared to the 4Runner. There is lots of nice features about it too.

My step-dad is checking stock on a grey '06 Limited 4Runner. My next color choice would be white again, then maybe a black one as a third choice. So hard to take care of though.

CGY, I think the 4Runner is a better choice. I just got an RX330 ThunderCloud Edition and while the interior is nice, I miss the V8 in the 4Runner in the test drive that I had. My parents said the same thing, 4Runner is too rough, not luxury enough, but I didn't care. When we put our name down for a ThunderCloud edition (wait list), they called us and my parents decided to just get it.

All I really wanted was a vehicle to drive safely in snow conditions and something more rugged. The RX330's engine is pretty weak. I have a 2000 Accord Coupe EX V6 and the pickup is so much better. The 230hp 3.3L engine is not suited for the RX330's weight. Now I'm thinking about selling the RX and getting a 4Runner. My parents already have a 2004 RX330 and they wanted me to get one as well.

It make sense to upgrade from 4runner to GX and from highlander to RX. They share the same platforms, but I must admit, the RX is driven mostly by female. I also test drove both SUV, the GX is more like a Lux up 4runner, while the RX is a tall camry just like the highlander.

Yah, my mom had a 2004 RX330 (which she traded for her RX400h) and it was a little under powered compared to the 4runner. But the V8 has so much more torque.

I am not sure, if I was to get a 2006 4Runner, it would be my 3rd one in a row...

wait and get the new Rav4... it'll have a V6 more powerful than the one in the 4Runner and it'll be about the same size as the Highlander/ RX.

while someone suggested above it may seem absurd for her to give up/ trade her car in because it's too masculine...

when i worked at a local Lexus dealership we had a kid come in who couldn't have been more than 19yo w/ a brand spankin' new M3 (style before the current model). apparently he was sent by his mom to look for new cars because he got a flat tire on his... no lie.

I don't think I want a Rav4. Not my style. I am considering a Lexus RX, what would make anyone here think that I should get a Rav4? I might as well get a Highlander, at least it has comparable features to the 4Runner. Somehow a $35,000 (cdn) suv doesn't seem to compare to a $50,000 or $60,0000 (cdn) one in my mind. Thanks for the advice tho.

Why not be the first member of your family to get the new Lexus IS 350?

If I were you I'd go w/ the new 4Runner although the RX is a nice choice. Depends on what you really are going to use it for. More utility=4Runner, more Luxury=RX.

yeah, a Rav4 isn't my bag either. i'm curious to see how it performs though with the new V6 it's getting. the thing should be super fast.
