Should my UCA bushings look like this?

well I am going to do loosen that bolt (and maybe a zerk or two) today and try to maneuver the bushings back into place today after i get off work, i will be sure to take some after photos.

i also spoke with steve at wheelers offroad and he stated the same solution as you guys have. I hope it works, fingers crossed!

Should work out just fine. When I greased up my ICONs I did the same (similar) thing to the first lube point then loosened them up to do the other 3 and re-seat the first. No issues 5k miles later.

Yes... definitely to much grease pressure with your application. I'm a fairly good wrench but figured I'd brush up on things before install and watched the following from Total Chaos...

The video is a little longer as they are installing front coil-overs as well.

No grease on the outside of the bushings (as mentioned in minute 2:00 of the vid and in instructions). Also when finally greasing I would recommend using a pistol grip grease gun as opposed to a lever type. Remember from the install diagram you posted; there are "channels" built into the inner diameter of the bushings as the bushings interface with the sleeves. It is that location that requires grease with regards to the interior mechanism... no other. Therefore you're looking to apply enough grease (pressure) to fill those voids - which doesn't take much. I applied pressure with the grease gun in even measured amounts feeling almost no back pressure - until I felt back pressure, then gave it the slightest squeeze with just one hand on the pistol grip. All this while the UCAs were installed and the main pivot bolt was snugged down. After which I torqued to specifications... Just as the video recommends in minute 13:30.

UPDATE: PROBLEM SOLVED! :amen:

i loosened the "pinch bolt" and the drivers side front UCA zerk and grease splooged out around the bolt head. The rear had grease splooge out from around the bushing. This alleviated the pressure on the front and rear. i left out the front zerk when i tightened it back up and a little grease string extruded from the where the zerk fits in.
