Got this lightbar mount from Tuffy Industries. Its made for an FJ but fits perfectly on a 4runner. Just have to install it upside down but works.

Wiring and install. Ran the wire down the driver side A pillar and used a Universal Wire Hider by KC Hilites.

Nice! It looks like on the roof you managed to fit the wires in channel on either either side of the gutter trim.

Yes, turns out the weather trim on the 4runner’s rooftop was made to tuck in 2 wires inside perfectly

my thinking is I can remove rack, cap off the front 2 open holes and cut this part and make the rack work. thoughts?

APologies,,, never saw this..

Stock cross bars and THule Vector Alpine XL i think.. I laser cut longer clamp jaws for the existing thule cross bar quick release clamps... everything works like a charm...

Honestly, a good cargo box is way more useful than most full length roof racks I see. Maybe no Instagram Cred, but functionality for the win..

Basically he used a Thule Vector XL with custom clamps to fit it onto a TRD PRO Roof Rack.

I added a Thule Pulse Medium 614. Fits snug inside the TRD Pro rack. Moved the front cross bar down. Attached to the first and third cross bars. Fits perfect inside with no modification needed.
