In case anyone wants to buy one for another purpose, you will find them often called 'handle nut', and lots of trailer places sell them, they are mostly used for installing hitches.

Why not weld them in a few places? Its stronger and you don't have to worry about shearing off a bolt. But I tend to over think things.


If you ever want to remove them just take a grinder to them?
