From what I'm seeing, the whole center part of the front fascia is exactly the same, it's only the outside corners that differ between the Limited & SR5/Trail. That appears to be a bracket that's attached for the lower "chrome" strip & fogs. If the Trails/SR5s don't have an upper cover, at the very least we could order that upper "chrome" strip & get it color-matched. I'd still like to have Shrockworks add a 3rd bar to delete the entire OEM grille though. It's not that I'm anti-sombrero, I just prefer smaller hats.

I think that many people are being thrown off by my shiny chrome
There would be no need to order and color match any part what so ever. Your 4Runner, whether it be TE, LE or SR5 will come with the piece I added to the Shrockworks grill. And, unless you buy a LE, it is already matched to the color of your rig. The LE has a chrome strip whereas the others are painted. It is the same piece for all 4Runners, just different finishes. You simply will have to remove it by taking out 4 tiny screws and a few carter keys from the inside of the OEM front bumper clip. Once that is done affix it to the Shrockworks grill. This should take no more than 30 minutes.

I was hoping it was a color-matched bit. Can't wait till mine gets out of Puerto Toyota & into my driveway so I can start taking things apart to get a better idea of what mods I'll be making. I know I read it on here somewhere, I just can't find it again, that there's no problem mounting rear bumpers on the 14s because that bit is unchanged...right? I have a feeling I'll be heading down that way to pick up front, rear, & sliders once they are done. That's one part of TX I've never been in.

Lift Done and New Tires ( Second Set In One Week)
So...Here is a quick snapshot of my UnLimited after the lift and new tires (again) . I originally traded in my stock tires for some 275/ 55/20 Nitto Grapplers. But after the lift was done ( Major props and a HUGE thank you to Justin from Shrokworks for coming in on a Saturday to help me out with the lift) the Nittos seemed puny. I went back where I bought them and they agreed to give me full credit on my tires I bought last week twards the Goodyear Wrangler Dura Tracs in a 275/65/20. While they were installing the tires, I took Justin's advice ( I cant say enough nice things about the guys at Shrockworks) ripped off the rocker panels and chrome running boards and here is the result:

blinker lights?
Is the 2014 bumper coming with blinker lights? The latest photos on the Shrockworks website doesn't show any but it is listed in the description. I know the primary blinker are factory built into the headlight assembly... but for those weird angles where the hoop obstructs the blinker view...
Also does anyone else have thoughts or ideas about the Shrockworks bumper affecting the airflow to the radiator? It looks like the bumper covers more of the area than the stock bumper (raised higher?). Is this compensated by the fact air can get around it under the bumper through the skid plate and through the vented trim piece?

There are no blinker lights in the bumper. I am sure if you wanted them, they would put them in for you.
As far as the air flow goes, I have modified Shrockworks gril design to incorporate the Limited bloodlines. Here is how the bumpers come from Shrockworks followed by my UnLimited Grill Mod. Their design lets in quite a bit of air, while mine is restrictive. I will ultimately add a functioning hood scoop.

I don't want to be disagreable, but I think it looks much, much better without the filler piece. ( but then, I have always subscribed to the " less is more " principle.)
I am also concerned about the new bumper blocking so much of the airflow to the radiator, so I would be happy to leave that piece on the garage floor. (If I HAD a garage!). :lol:
