now that's ingenuity, put it to work and let us know how it holds up....looks good to me, just not my forte as i'm not planning on submerging my rig to the point where i have to do some interior clean ups afterwards.

i can tell you from personal experience that it sucks, the cap locks express how mad i still am for not having carpet anymore

Joined to the factory 90 coming out of the air box (caulked like a M-F'er on both sides)

The ugly joint between the two flex pipes (caulked, taped, zip tied and fingers crossed)

Flex joined to PVC (caulked and hose clamped)

Poorly cut hole, painted cut edge, 1/2" hose to prevent chaffing and the bracket

The bracket was about a foot long with predrilled mounting holes, cut it off real close and bent to match door seal

I think the Safari drainage holes will still work at this angle, at least this one

Ahhh, IDK... I can still do it. It would look cool. Pretty funny cuz most stuff I do at work is followed by my troops saying "JON SMASH!" That fender was already dented up from the 3rd time I had to do a CV and hit my hand with a hammer busting the ball joints loose. JON SMASH!!! Naw, no anger issues here:happens:

Here's some up-to-date pics. I used a propane torch and bent the PVC right above the fender to make it hug the pillar. Looks better and on my last camping trip I went to a couple spots where the head almost got ripped off. Just real thick brush on an old unused trail. Bent the bracket all to hell and scratched a lot of paint off the pipe. Now it's nice and solid, and I used the last of my Herculiner on it, put another coat on the bumper and did some touchup spots. As you can see, the head is now tilted over too, it was just tilted with the pipe and looked tacky. I just thought if it was gonna have to be tilted, it was gonna be tilted enough to serve a purpose. Purpose being that it's less of a hook on branches n junk.
