skid plate screws

hey guys, was under the truck today to just do a quick check, removed the 4 12mm skid plate screws and noticed they are a bit stripped on the thread, does the dealer sell replacement screws? if not I might pop down to the hardware store and see if they have any stainless steel ones so ,anyone know the exact dimensions of the thread and length of the bolt?

McMaster Carr will sell you a bag of 50 flange head bolts for the price of 2 from the dealer!

They can get damaged quite often so it's worth having a bunch.

Check the lengths though! From front to the middle of the vehicle there are three different lengths needed depending on how many skid plates you have. They are all M8 and I think I got a package each of 25, 30 and 40 mm, but check your own bolts to be sure...

These are the smaller ones for the plastic cover.

Yeah, I was looking for the bigger 12mm screws,I believe is 4 screws with the washers that held up the metal skid, just behind the plastic cover infront. But I will probably grab some of the smaller 10mm ones as well for the plastic cover. Thanks.

The mass marketers sells nuts/bolts. O'Reilley's/AZ/Pep Boys/etc.

They have a board with various sizes ...M6/M8/etc next to the nuts/bolts that you can screw yours into in order to confirm size. Pretty easy to compare the length of your pan bolts to what they have.

Flange Head, Med strength (Wanted the bolts to bend, not break or snap off the internal nuts, though that has happened anyway)
