bump. is your truck still matte black? How does it look 2 years later? thoughts? Also, more pics!
EDIT: i want to wrap my hood in matte black. Just gathering information. Below is some info i got from Harper7 on toyota120.com about when he wrapped his hood.

Start off with some small stuff to get the hang of it. The hood is really easy to do too .The new dry install vinyls from 3M are really easy to get the hang of.They are applied with a heat gun . I used the 3M 180c v1 Black Matte on my hood but wouldn't be afraid to wrap the whole thing myself now if that's what I wanted. The key is to use the 3m primer 94 along the edges where you tuck it under.
3M has a newer V3 of the 180c that looks smoother but supposedly is harder to install according to the wrappers.
I think the guy that had his whole 5th done said he paid $2800 to have it done which is about standard.I paid $125 in material for my hood and I think it was a 5'x6' piece.
Of course there is a forum for vinyl wrapping, where all the pro wrappers hang out and where I learned alot!

Here is my hood right after I did it last year. Really cuts the glare from the sun and oncoming headlights at night. So much easier on your eyes!The only thing I don't like about it is it shows dirt alot more compared to my silver especially during this pollen season. Easy to wipe off though.
