Edwin I'm really bummed how your day turned out, but am very glad you dint get hurt to bad! I hope to ride with you again soon. That rocky down hill section has no soft landings sorry bout that!

Brad thanks for driving all the way over for the ride. That run down rattle snake was short but fun thanks for cranking up that east side trail with me!
 
Sounds like you guys had fun and a lil extra carnage! I bet it was hot, but not as hot as Fresno (103 degrees)! Hope to ride with you guys sooner than later. Pics please!

Sorry I did not take any pics, I think Edwin might have got a couple. I really need to get a GoPro1 For Both biking and wheeling.
 
That was a fun time yesterday. Except for watching Edwin go down in the scary rocky descent. Hope you are feeling better Edwin.

And glad to hear you went riding today also Jay.

Wound up jumping on the road bike for a few miles up Mandeville canyon. Need to put more training miles in so we can do Mt Pinos someday. Lots of climbing on that ride from what I read.

Sorry no pictures from me on the ride. Next time I'll have the GoPro hooked up for some of the descents.

It gets hot early out in the Claremont wilderness. I started at the end of mills road and went up the fire road to the top of Potato MT. Near the top I met up with a couple of guys from STR. This is not a good place to ride solo. Saw a few dear and plenty of prime Mt Lion habitat.
The guys I met were great to ride with and really knew there way around and took me down web canyon. All in all it was a great ride 3300 feet of climbing will get your hart pumping. Would I ride it again absolutly.
 
So I spent last night putting a little video together of Jay and I descending Guadalasca Trial. I put some Frank Zappa in there for some music. But youtube didn't like me not owning the music. So they muted it.

Weather premitting I will be getting in a good ride this weekend. I am open to location at this point nothing planned other than the need to ride!
