Stopped by my local dealer to check out the '08 GX, very little has changed - here's some pics:

Its a damn shame they think chrome adds to the truck. It make it look cheesy IMO. Color-matched is so much better, same with the newer runners with the handles and grilles.

Finally, I get to see what a 2008 GX470 looks like! I agree, way too much chrome. The interior looks a lot like the 2007 LX470 interior with the chrome speaker bezels and darker wood color. I am not a fan of the taillights either. Where are the LED's already?

I took some pics of the front of an '08, Lexus says there's supposed to be "new dark metallic finish on the front grille" but I can't tell any difference.

Saw the new for '08 Desert Sage Metallic color on a GX last night, had to stop and take a pic. Not nearly as nice as last year's green IMO.

I saw a 2008 GX470 in person for the first time last week. What is with those chrome roof rails? There is way too much chrome on the new GX for my liking!

seriously, and i havent seen one in person yet! It will only look good in black...

But putting too much chrome on a well respected company (Lexus) makes it look like some Escalade or Navigator...... haha..
