Question about lift/spacers/tires and rubbing equation. you got a 3" Lift, 285's and 1.25" spidertrax all the way around? What kind of rubbing are you getting?

Thanks for the kind words! There are a couple bolts in the rear that I rub a lot in times where the springs are flexing really hard, which is crazy annoying but I may have a solution coming for that in the not so distant future.

If you look way back, like first page way back I mentioned I had bought some marlin crawler sliders. For some reason or another I never got them welded on. Well, the day has finally come. All I gotta do is buy some more bed liner in a can and spray these bad boys. I love the way they're mounted and they're strong as hell!

Bed lined my sliders with rustoleum's bed liner in a can stuff. I had to paint them while installed because I wanted to leave them bare for the welder. Masked it all off and had at it. Turned out really nice and the bed liner leaves a nice grippy texture which is nice for my short wife to hop in and out. I'll get better pics when I get some better lighting. It even has a little step plate with marlin crawlers logo cut out.

Yeah I think it was! A lot of people say it's easier off but really all I did was mask off the body and I was good to go (I also bedlined the pinch weld all the way down to the slider. I figured it couldn't hurt).
I took off most of the plasti dip. I'm not sure if I'm going to paint these a nice gloss black or get some pro comp 7069 (?) I think is the model, 4wp is selling them cheap (then I could sell the spidertrax and make some money back on the deal)! Anywho got all my parts to install my rear diff breather extension today so hopefully I'll put that on soon. Also got some cash from the tax man so I should have some decent updates coming :wof:

I feel like Plasti-Dip gets an aged look.... I'm about to tear mine off tomorrow so i can pick up some new tires, and new rims. I'm actually looking at those pro comps. I'm Probably going to pick them up next week.

Did some pretty extreme hard parking yesterday. The T4R was looking photogenic so I snapped a couple pics. Also anyone interested in some planet audio 12 inch subwoofers and a planet audio amp? I'm getting rid of my stereo, just don't use it at all (btw they pound pretty hard).

Dude I'm dying to go wheelin, haven't been in awhile. And my brother in law lifted and put some duratracs on his 4th gen! I know he really wants to hit the hills.

Well the time flew by, and here we are. I gotta say I am very very impressed with savage and all I've done so far is unwrap it and check it out. This thing is beautiful and looks super meaty. I will be painting and mounting ASAP. They even included the lug nuts for the tire carrier (awesome).

They certainly look like they can throw down a decent bead. They've done a good job of making old toyota style fit newer rigs. It reminds me alot of the the tube bumpers I've built for the 80s trucks.

I'm painting it as I type. I'm gonna mount it up Monday is the plan. This thing looks awesome the more I look it over! It will def be done before the 4th! :banana:

Used some acetone to clean it up, and now I'm starting to spray the first layer.
