Went wheelin with [MENTION=91623]CenCalifoothill15[/MENTION] and [MENTION=106932]Blazzin'[/MENTION] at brewer lake ohv. Fun little trail. Starts out really easy and then gets harder as the trail progresses. The best part is at the end of the trail there is a very calm, isolated lake with fish jumping all day. Great times and we got a few pics!

Yeah man it's pretty perfect up there. No one around for a few miles and you're surrounded by some really beautiful nature. Highly recommend it. Let me know if you ever make your way inland and want to wheel! :cheers:

Here's a little update after the trip to brewer ohv. The next day I was driving around and looked a little closer and saw this:

It just decided to seperate all on its own. I guess it was a combination of the heat and being exposed to sunlight after who knows how many years under the t4r.

Hit up a couple used tire shops and found this 285/75-16 bfgoodrich mud terrain for cheap. It has enough tread to be a spare and now I feel a lot better having a full sized spare that I can throw on if something was to happen on the trail. The only weird thing about it now is the 285 tire looks HUUUGE compared to the stock size spare lulz.

Not a huge update but I finally installed my B&M tranny cooler I beleive the 70264 rated at 14,400 Btu. I followed Bfad's install loosely and it went in pretty easy, few cuts on my arms/hands lol. No pink milkshake for me! I think next is a CB radio setup. Stay tuned. :spy:

I haven't really hit any hard trail with the 4runner! I have a fully built 3gen Toyota pickup; so if anything I use that! My 4runner plan is a expedition vehicle. But for sure when you plan to let me know!

Well its been a long time since I updated anything. Not a whole lot has been getting done on the 4runner unfortunately. I had my second child in November so it seems to get harder and harder to make time to turn the wrenches. Anyway this poor truck hasn't seen any action in awhile but hopefully I'll get to do some wheeling soon!

Got the Allpro UCAs on and I gotta say they are pretty badass, they are beefy as hell and look good too. I'm really itching to take it to pismo again and actually try to beat on the suspension a little bit in the sand. The UCAs went in pretty easily, but the oem UBJ would not come out without a fight, my neighbor finally just said F*** it and torched them out ha.

Got 3 more D Rings for the bumpers, only had one on the front originally so figured I'd make it easy to attach a strap to any corner


Aldo got all my parts for a CB radio setup! I'm pretty excited about this one, feels long overdue. Got the Uniden 520xl radio with all firestik components, 4 foot firefly, heavy duty spring, firestik mount and the firestik 18 foot cable. Also I got a PA so I can yell at people on the trail haha.

Aaaaaaaand last but not least a new oem lower ball joint for the passenger side. Noticed how bad it looked when I did my ucas so I figured better safe than sorry and bought a new one. This will be the next thing I need to install, hopefully in the next couple weeks.

I'm thinking about maybe getting some skids next and painting the rims black or getting some aftermarket rims....so many choices. Hopefully I'll have more updates soon. Thanks for looking!
