Somethings knocking on my floor!-- YES, I HAVE SEARCHED, I am adding a twist

Hey everyone, just looking for some opinions

2004 4runner V8 114,000 miles, and I maintain it pretty well. Other than a wheel bearing, the runner has been great.

I have this knock under my feet, and I can even feel it in the middle under the console, and towards the back to. It happens when I go over bumps, or more so when the pavements uneven, like going slow over a speed bump, or turning from a level road down to a steep driveway with a gutter right before it.

I have seen 2 mechanics, neither of them found a thing that was loose. The last guy said he could see shiny spots on the metal between the frame and body. I want to believe the body mounts are loose/damaged, but the way it feels and knocks in relation to the movement of the vehicle, seems off.

Toyota priced me at 130 bucks to tighten/fix mounts, but say they don't know how long it will take, depends on how bad it is, and I don't know if that's even the issue.

What do you think?

I considered having them fix the body mounts, then have them check my engine and tranny mounts?

If nothing else, does anyone have an idea how long fixing the bushing/mounts would take, and do you think that is the cause of a floor knock?

It is possible that the CV axle needs replacing. Look for leaked white grease wround the boots. That solved my knocking last year and it wasn't hard or expensive to do.
