South Carolina get together?

its a stock 4runner bumper. forget about it anyways. its going to rust out completly regardless.....YES YOU WILL HIT STUFF. if you want to wheel and do cool jeep type trails with little hills here and there, yeah, you wont hit anything. i prefer the fun stuff (that involves a little contact)

trail damage is not on the my agenda. My wife is not a fan of it, haha

Well I don't plan on it but maybe expect to see some minimal damage, if you've seen me wheel you know that I have a slow and low approach and yes i've scraped and dented my stock plastic and skid plates :)
Been going out to Uwharrie for years STOCK, banging over every little berm.

Bring your walkie so we can talkie. I know Brian has a set to if he does come out.

I still think bringing a lunch and eating up there might be best. We can get together for breakfast.
 
Takes me exactly 2 hours from Huntersville - assuming no stops of course. I usually try to plan it to hit SC with an empty tank so I can fill up much cheaper.

I was trying to think of the name of the trail with the hill that will catch the rear bumper - then I saw the pic of it above :) That's really one of the only spots you might catch it. There are a few spots in the bowl also that might catch. I go around those, since I don't clear them very well either. I do have a bumper being made, so I don't mind putting a few more scrapes on my stocker.
 
From who? Locally or out west. I really like 4X4Labs rear bumper for a 4th gen and Luke sells a kit that can be welded together but it's pricey.
 
Man, i wish i could make it but im stuck over here in columbia at a m1117 ASV Class, maybe next time yall have a get together i wont be obligated by the military to be anywhere and i hope that the next get together is soon!!
 
Alright boys, it's week of and I'm sure the excitement is through the roof. Went to chase down my walkie talkie this weekend but no dice. You can never find those damn things when you need them. Anyway, for you 1st time guys, I just wanted to remind you to BRING CASH. They do not take plastic. So it should be a $25 fee for vehicle and driver, $5 one time registration fee (for the new guys), and $5 per passenger. You can also purchase drinks and snacks from the office. In a pinch, Skip will let you Paypal him from your smart phone (ask me how I know), but it's not the preferred method.

Looking forward to getting out there with everyone. Let us know if you can't make it and need to bail. Otherwise, see you out there!

The price of poker went up! Thanks for the head up on the cash. Everyone meet at 9:45 Austin try and be there by 9:30 so you can get there on time,lol.

I'll try haha, It looks like it will be quicker for me to just dive down into SC instead of over to 485 then by yalls area. I don't think I've made it on time to a meet yet lol but I'll do my best :driving:
 
So how about we agree to meet at 9:30am at Chik-fil-a (if you want breakfast) or 10:00am at Gulches? Does anyone have the address of the Chik-fil-a ?
 
Sorry to get your appetite up. I was refering to a Chicfila on the way down from Charlotte and meeting at 9:45-10 at The Gulches,
