South Cow OHV New Years Weekend

Heading to South Cow OHV this weekend for Saturday wheeling and camping. Let me know if youre interested in joining! Would love to hit some harder stuff with a partner to be there to pull out if we get stuck. Planning on leaving Petaluma area around noon Saturday and staying until mid afternoon Sunday. Going to be cooking a big hot meal and bringing lots of cold beer for anyone whos interested! Let me know if youl be in the area.

So how'd this turn out? Anything interesting to report out? Pictures? So Cow is on the list of places Im curious about ... wondering if its worth the trip from Folsom

Sorry for the late reply. Just saw this post now as I was digging through my profile.. anyways, the trip ended up really well. Found out that South Cow is massive and can be pretty difficult to navigate. Printed off a few maps but still felt pretty lost most of the time. However, did find some pretty gnarley trails wide enough for the 4runner and some great rocky hill climbs and large mud pits. A good number of stuff I couldn't try alone but parked and walked through. Would totally say its worth a trip.. lots of cool and scenic camping spots as well. Had a few interesting characters zooming around late night.. would be a fun place to explore for a weekend and get some parting in!
