I know that! But the inside of my truck now has red LEDs at night (when headlights are turned on) and a black shifter boot with red stitching. I'm going for red "accents"...

Alright...Mrs. Sp8ball made the decision for me, and I'm going with this one:

I've got the parts for the Satoshi Grille mod, but have to wait to do it.
The wife wants it to be louder (Magnaflow muffler), and wants the rack to be black (Paint the end caps - and eventually I'll talk her into a BajaRack or something).
Have we done everything there is to do? (except for the "elite" modders, who are ripping bumpers off and replacing them with old Abrams tank parts)
Of course, there's always the black wheels and beefed up tires, but you all know how well that goes over in my house.

(Note: I DO like the Mavericks, but I was honestly pulling AGAINST Lebron. He's no Jordan, and I'm tired of people trying to say he is.)

YES! I grew up in Dallas, and pretty much all my family is still living in Big D(Carrollton) So i'm a huge Mavs fan..I've been watching those boys for a long time. I'm so happy that Dirk finally got his hardware. No longer can anybody say, Yeah, he's really good, but he hasn't won a championship. AND we did it against the Heat which feels pretty good considering what D-whistle did to us in 2006.
I've been browsing the NBA store as well as mavgear.com. I told myself before the finals started, that if we win, i was going to buy a bunch of new mav stuff.
Cuban is THE Best owner in all of sports. Love having him as an owner, and he deserves it too.

even though i have the rearview backup camera on my '11 SR5, i want to be able to see it on my JVC KWNT3HDT HU that i installed.
been trying to find the reverse lead since i installed the thing in march but since gave up.
your thread has given me hope...
question: though your backup switch mod isn't exactly what i want, i know from looking at the schematic that the red and blue wires from the modular plug carry the signal. i have one purple lead from the JVC that needs to tap into the signal. you use both wires, do you know if i can tap either to get the video signal to bring back to the LCD screen on the HU? or do i need to splice both to the JVC lead?

Just got it today - a full 3 days before Amazon said I'd receive it!
It's awesome. I had some stupidity issues when I installed it, but it's all good now. Brief writeup to follow in the near future.
Also, Mrs. Sp8ball offered to get me a new exhaust tip for Father's Day. But the one she liked was a weld-on tip, so she had to remove the veil of secrecy and ask me about it. I told her that I'd rather wait and get that when I got a Magnaflow, and install them both at the same time (since they'd both need to be welded in). Then she switched the topic to mufflers! Whoo-hoo! But I also told her that a bolt-on exhaust tip would be just fine, because she didn't need to spend all that money on a muffler if she didn't want to.
Either way - another mod!!:beer:

thanks for the advice antman, but just finished tapping the red from the plug w/ the lead for the JVC and "No Signal"
is it the blue? what about blue and red to the JVC lead?

yeah, says "Reverse Gear Signal Lead" is needed to make the tap.
tapping the red, as you suggested, and putting the 'runner in reverse, did trigger the LCD to go into backup mode but "No Signal Detected" was displayed.
so, i apologize, you were right that the red is the correct wire to trigger the backup camera, but i'm missing the signal feed.
if there's only three wires that go to the stock rearview backup camera, and i'm thinking the white/black is power, is the blue the signal? splice the blue and red to the JVC lead?
