Hey guys, I've run in to a bit of an emberassing snag and I'm worndering if anyone here can help me. I'm very frustrated with this damn truck right now and its partially my own fault.
I need a map of the spark plug wires on a 99 V6.
I thought I'd preform some routine maintenance on an already fine running truck, knowing that the plug wires were orginal, I bought new wires and plugs. It was a nice day out so I tought I'd pop them in before I take my boat away for the winter tommorow.
I get everything taken out just fine, some shimmying around a few wires and brackets, no big deal. Like an idiot, I pulled all the coils out at once, and then all the wires out. I get them all put back in in the order that I think they go, put the intake and all that other junk back together, fire it up, and it smells like unburnt gas. A minute later I'm getting a flashing check engine light. I was pretty much an hour from when I had to go to work, and kind of mad at this point, so I rushed around and pulled it all apart and put it all back together again just to make sure all the connections were on good. Same result.
Sorry for the long story, but I'm about sick of this truck. And this time, its my fault.
