10:30 Sunday night.
I ordered one set, that makes "6 left" according to the Amazon page.
I really don't need these-the originals lasted 16 years, so my current set has another 12 years to go. But:
It's good to have spares.
Free shipping cinched the deal.

Must have been just in front of you. Said 8 left when I placed my order.

Didn't need the wires at this point, but will use the plastic wire separating clips since I broke a few on a previous repair. Don't think they sell those separate and no way I could have rounded those up for this price.

Crazy Amazon price story- Needed two torque wrenches last week. Ordered Tekton 1/2 in ft lb for $41.00, which was normal. Wanted a nicer CDI 3/8 for in lb jobs. Had been watching them in the $105 range for a few days. Was going to do EBay and looked one last time on Amazon. Same model and SKU number was listed for $24.95. Tekton already delivered, CDI shows to arrive tomorrow. Price on CDI was back to $106 within the hour.

Had I been greedy, I would have ordered 10 wrenches. Figured the price gods were pitching me some crumbs and didn't want to push it too far.

Only 1 left now....I still have the original wires on my '99 w/ 257k miles on em. But they ohm out ok so...you can also get denso or ngk from rock auto for ~$25.

Well, I apologize for getting everyone excited. I wonder if the volume that we ordered had anything to do with it. Maybe if it was just one of us it would have been different.

Like the story with the CDI torque wrench on crazy discount, in sure if 50 wrenches were ordered there would have been a red flag

Torque wrench shows to be at my local PO for tomorrow delivery. Probably a box of rocks with a nice FU note.
