Stayed with REVO2s - Love 'em (now). Had to start with regional manager, but he was great, as was the local dealer (different shop than the first shop, which I didn't care for...).
Ride and tracking is much better than the original set of REVO2s, but OEMs are decent highway tires, if not very good at anything else. Care was taken to make sure the manufacture date was substantially different than the first set (I wonder if there is some internal awareness of bad productions lots, but not something they deem important enough to actually conduct a formal recall...).
Toyota did a full alignment and, even though I didn't think it was "off" (just the steering wheel alignment), it turned out to make a huge difference in feel (this was performed for free as I was informed Toyota will pick up the tab on a single tire balance and alignment during the first year - my shop did the balance for free even though I had swapped to the REVO2s - really helpful guys...).
