Just ordered a set of 1.25" Spidertrax, and wantd to let everyone know (if you didn't already) that they have 21 sets of cosmetically blemished spacers in their outlet store. I think you can see a sliver of blue, based on what I've seen on other people's trucks. I'd think you could just spray paint (or jump on the plasti-dip wagon) them.

I thought about that but I'm not sure if it would throw off the balancing or not. I would think any effect would be minor but haven't seen anyone do it yet, here or on the Jeep sites.

I also thought about calling them directly to see if I can order them in silver too, but haven't gotten that far (contemplating doing 5100's first).

Do the spidertraxx make the center caps non-usable? The only sliver of blue I've seen is when people choose not to use their center caps...otherwise you can't see the wheel spacers at all.

Also keeps water out of the center hub area which prevents excess rust/corrosion.

I am rubbing on my control arms in reverse full lock. Debating on these or coughing up double and getting UCA. Thanks for the heads up on the deal. I want to pull the trigger on it but I worry about spacers as I routinely pull a 3000# camper with everyone I care about inside my vehicle.

Yes you can see the blue, but you have to really look for it.

I would not worry about the spacers at 1.25" they are just like putting on larger tires like you have, may shorten the life of ball joints, but they are safe. The important piece is checking that they are properly torqued like anything else on the truck.

THink though that the radius of you steering arc will increase and very well could eliminate the UCA rubbing, but cause fender rubbing. Just my $.02, but I would measure first. :cheers:

You can still use your centre caps with spacers. Depending on your wheel geometry, tires, etc. you may get some pretty good rubbing. If you're lucky it'll only be on the liners and you can pull them forward or cut them. I had rubbing on my driver's side body mount in drive and well before full lock. If you're brave you can use an angle grinder to cut the body mount like I did.

also thanks for the pics intruder. these pics have me considering spacers more now. Do you think there would be any rubbing with stock size duratracs? How about with my mild lift and light racing UCA.

The final concern I have is limiting up travel by moving the tire into the fender rather than up into the opening of the wheel arch
