Spidertrax this weekend.....question?

I am putting SPIDERTRAX on this weekend and have a question about floor jacks. I already have a 2 ton floor jack and 3 ton jack stands, will this be strong enough to get my 05 V8 T4R off the ground? By the way I am going to do one wheel at a time and place the jack stands underneath the corner I am working on. At no time will I be under the truck. I just need to get one corner off the ground at a time. Thanks! Any suggestions would be great!:shrug:

Yep, one wheel at a time, you should be fine.

x2 and just to be extra safe, chalk your wheels!!! Use extra stands and make sure you are on level ground. I'm overly sensitive here, lost my dad to a car falling on him. After the accident, it took me several extra hours just to replace the rear springs in my old truck. Take your time and be safe. I still work on my own cars, but I take a lot more precautions. OH, set your emergency brake as well! You have plenty of equipment to get the job done. Post pics when you are done!

Sorry for your loss. The car dropping is always a concern of mine so the second I can slide a stand under I DO. I'll use the extra stands for added support as well. The work will be done in my garage, so it will be level and the truck will be locked in place. Any other tips I might need?

NO DOUBT!!!! Its suppose to be over 100 this weekend in STL so a beer will be the first thing in the rotation. :cheers:

Your not going to be under the car or anywhere to get hurt. There are really no tips for this, other then say loosening your lug nuts while the tire is on the ground.
You don't need a jack stand, just do 1 wheel at a time, takes a few seconds.

I'd definitely make sure to use a jack stand !

I figured if you have jack stands why not use them...a little extra safety never hurt nobody....wait...does than make sense? Anyway, jack stands will be used.

SWEET!!! Got my SPIDERTRAX installed last night!!! Totally changed the way the truck looks. I need to clean her up and then I'll post the results. Thanks for all the help and advise!!
