I've seen them in person last week and don't honestly know if they are needed. I could get my whole hand in there through the mount portion and it might be enough. I may have to ask Luke though.

Edit: Still working on the new grill and light placements. The Rigid SR-Q2 lights finally came in so they could work with them.

Better looking, sure? But it will decrease MPGs significantly, which is what Toyota is concerned about. Almost finished the checkout button on my shcrockworks front bumper, but knowing that I have 6ish months to wait, I'm really interested in how this one turns out...Toyota should take note/lesson from this front end, it is 1000x than the better looking than the current 2014 blowhole design

Lol I ***** a bit about that new front, the hugeness of the air intake by itself is totally fine but the "gills" on the sides just do it in for me and who put eyes...err lights in gills. I swear it looks like a pissed off mutant fish.
Yeah adding a few hundred pounds of 3/16 steel and welds definitely won't increase your gas mileage unless you happen to be always driving downhill
I like that shrockworks bumper better than any others I have seen (I would really dig seeing knockouts in it for the factory fog/drl's ), I contemplated building up my 99' but traded it in for a 13', know letting the war chest fill up again while I decide what to do.
This front just looks sweet IMO.
Wondering when someone is going to bump it up a notch a build one out of 1/4 aluminum.

Almost there guys. It is due back from powder coat next week. My truck is going through a metamorphosis right now and the diffs are out being regeared and adding lockers. I should have it ready for pics soon! Just a few last wrinkles to work out to make it that much better. Ended up changing some items and adding a few others. Parts for this front bumper are ready for production and the nicest thing is that the weight gain is pretty minimal at just a hair over 100 lbs. I believe the next lightest competition is 137. I bet Luke could do it in aluminum too if you were really concerned with weight.

Yes, but do you really want to see pics before I have it back? My bumper is in powder or just back. Was going to pick up the truck today but a slight setback in the re-gear (wrong locker/gear combo - thick versus thin gear set), set us back a couple days. sliders are powdered and installed, rear diff is done, bmc is done... details... I hate waiting but I prefer it to be perfect.
