sprint booster just like having gears..!

I had t post this since it made me literally LOL.

I meet a guy yesterday with a nice FJ. It was on a huge 6"+ lift. Had 37s MTs, Kings.... It looked like a monster. I asked him, what gears are you running. He said, stock. I said wow :wow: I can't imagine that. Then he said, but I have a sprint booster installed.. it is just like having gears.

I could not hold it in.... and started cracking up.

The strange part is the guys is actually very knowledgeable... I think he just meant it was tolerable on the road that way. However, I still thought it was hilarious, and I'm sure he thought I was an ass for laughing so hard.

I guess it does prove the sprint booster helps the way these trucks feel. Still funny as heck.

I have a SprintBooster, I just wouldn't qualify it as he did.

It does help response tremendously though and makes it very tolerable.

I feel the same way. I run mine on Red and its a completely new engine, it makes a HUGE difference in daily driving. Jason Demello drove my rig after he did the lift and he was shocked at the difference, by far one of the best mods you can do to one of these things!

I get it... but really... it is still just all in your head.. But I do understand the perceived feel is important.

That's the crappy part about it; this expensive device is simply there to fool the driver! And I still want one...badly. And it sounds like the next step after the Sprint Booster is 37s, so...

I would pay DOUBLE the price for the Sprint Booster, that's how much I like it and how it transformed my rig. When the owner of a prominent shop is impressed, that says a lot!
