SR5 Chrome Strips

To all of you who blacked out the chrome strips...did you remove first or paint on the truck? Seems like a PIA to remove.

I kept on and used the matte black vinyl - the stuff is AWESOME and much easier than painting in my opinion. Just cover the strips and trim with a razor. I did mine about 6 months ago and hasnt blemished a bit!
