SR5 Stereo issue...

For some reason I can't get into the Bluetooth System setup menu that will allow you to turn down the volume of the bluetooth voice. Mine is very loud. It's not even showing up as an option(system setup) when digging through the bluetooth menu. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Am I missing something?

i think when i was on a call, i could turn up or down the volume with my steering wheel volume buttons. Also, did you try the volume knob on the radio? I believe that might have worked too. Either one of those two ways are ways i could turn the volume of the caller louder or softer.

I'm talking about the factory radio setup voice. There is an option in the manual to get into the System Setup menu and adjust the volume. Problem is I can't seem to get into it on the radio. It's not even showing up.

Aux>Bluetooth Audio>Setup>System Setup?? That's how the manual reads.

Yeah, i was talking about the factory radio too. I've haven't had to adjust the factory radio volume by doing what you are talking about. I would still try and do a test phone call and do what i mentioned earlier.

I actually just took my factory radio out this weekend. The new headunit makes my factory speakers sound soo much better.

Yes it is only adjustable from the steering wheel volume control. Knob does nothing, there are no internal controls in setup to adjust.

They must have changed it then. The manual says differently. Page 360 something. I'll try it out! FWIW, I'm trying to change the stereo guide voice, not the call volume.

sounds to me like you have the navigation system then? True?

Non-nav. Stock SR5 stereo with added amp/speakers/sub. The amp is obviously amplifying the stock stereo's audio output, hence the bluetooth/phone guide voice being really loud. The manual says there's a system setup menu on the stereo that will allow you to adjust the volume of the voice, but it doesn't seem to exist on mine.
