SRQ-Runner Build Thread

This build thread just got very serious! Looks great! The fitment does look really good on those fenders.

Spent the entire day removing stock suspension, pressing out ball joints, and painting the truck. Have a full day of classes tomorrow but hope to have the long travel on Saturday. I keep telling myself the install will be easier then the removal lol.

So I just finished reading every page of your thread. Great transformation and very inspiring. Your 2wd gives me the exact hope and confidence I needed for my 2wd build so thank you! I saw that you had Bilstein 5100's on your truck, did you have to do any modifying because I thought they were only for 4WD? Btw your TRD satoshi grill is super similar to vision I have for mine, but mine will tie into a color scheme I'll be putting on my sport hood. I'll post a pic of it when it's done.

Looking good man... just curious... why did you change up the grill colors? I personally loved the TRD stripes you had incorporated in there before... looked really original man! :)

Appreciate that! I plan on bringing a version of that grille back. Currently have it hanging up in my room as it's the first one I ever built. Being that it was my first, it has gone through countless different paint and mesh combinations and is pretty beaten up. I wanted to put a grille on the truck that represented my companies quality and attention to detail better and decided to give the color match a try.

I'm sure it may look different in person... but it certainly looks sweet from your pics man!

If I had a different body color on my truck... I would totally rock that! :)

Placed the order for some seats today. PRP offers ('95-'04) Tacoma brackets that mount up directly to their seats. From what I read on here and other forums I'll only need to modify the outer front mounting points on each bracket to make it work.

Everything can be ordered here:

fightman80 I figured I'd bring that grille design into the interior alittle.

4runner looks great Matt! Must be nice getting the hookup with all these companies through your business haha. Did you get your hood and fenders painted by a local shop in Tallahasse? Seeing you color matching everything really makes me want to buy a sport hood soon
