Steering question

I have a 2004 4R 2WD with 110k on it. The steering feels tight but it does wander on the freeway. But the concern I have is that when I turn in a tight circle with the wheel turned all the way to the left or the right I get a weird feeling in the steering wheel. Feels as though I has on marbles. It's not too bad but enough to notice.

I looked under neath and the boots are good. No leaks.

Is it bushings or do I need to replace the rack and pinion? Recommendations on after market replacement would be appreciated.
