Steering squeek

42s on u

I've got a steering squeak, it's not a belt squeal, or a column issue, it sounds like its coming from the rack. To me it's seems like it's only at low speed or not moving, but hard to tell if it's doing it while at speet. I have a toytec ultimate lift on 35's, all new rack bushings, rod ends, ball joints, and camburg uca's.

Anyone have this happen? What was it?

I was going to suggest greasing the sway bar bushings but then you mentioned it happens when not moving. Not sure if the sway bar moves at all if steering at a stand-still. You could put a little oil on either side and drive it and see if that helps (since yours are not greasable).

Other thought is: hold old/dirty is your power steering fluid? Maybe it's not lubricating everything like it should if it's indeed coming from the rack?
