Not too many options out there. Could look into a power steering cooler, or possibly a higher flowing pump.
TG has a kit...scrolly to the bottom.

More food for throught though.. stronger pump with stock tierods... could mean bent tierods... Just be ready when you upgrade to find the next weak point.

I was looking at some of their stuff. I was hoping to find beefier inner and out TRE and idler arms with a stronger pump. Looks like I would have to piece it together with new steering knuckles as well. I'd be looking at a fortune in parts.
Curious as to whether or not I could pull something out of a ford or Chevy truck. A Jeep buddy of mine put 1 ton stuff on his Jeep with a little modification.

instead of tie rod ends you could use a kit like this from ruff stuff; http://http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/34STEER.html

Whatever you do, Bill, I wouldn't spend a huge amount on it if you're serious about doing an SAS in the future--all of that will be taken care of with a good kit like Trail-Gear's, which includes their sweet high-steer kit. Low Range Offroad has a lot of "builder parts" you might dig through for building your current set-up, and they usually beat the original site on price (they sell a lot of Trail-Gear, All-Pro, etc.). So it turns out that there is propably nothing wrong with the steering system that I have now other than the fact that my power steering pump is not functioning. I didn't consider the pump because all this started at the same time as my lift and tire upgrade. I just assumed that because of the bigger tires it was harder to turn. So later today I will pull my pump off and check everything to see if I can salvage the existing pump.
Does anyone know if this pump will work in stock applications? can't call them till Monday to ask.

Ok, so there was nothing really wrong with my steering. Turns out it was just a loose belt. Just to be safe, I pulled it and cleaned it up. Drained all the fluid (PS fluid). Cleaned all the parts. Then of course I broke the stupid air control valve that sends a signal to the engine to idle up when it needs a little more power. A replacement valve is $100 so I just bypassed the thing.
