Subaru Field Monitor Unit (FMU) reads and displays compass headings (the cardinal directions, which you can calibrate and adjust for magnetic or true north), ambient air temperature (in °F) and barometric pressure (inches of mercury, which it also converts to elevation/ASL). The Subaru FMU also features two (2) brightness level adjustment Off feature.
The Subaru FMU is virtually identical to the 3rd Gen Hilux Surf FMU which displays ASL rather than inches of mercury, and temperature in °C rather than °F.
I bought this to install under a single din radio but never got around to it.
What is needed from Subaru:
H5010FC040 wire harness - included and labeled
H5010FC021 temp sensor and wiring.
