suspension harsh after winter

My suspension feels really harsh after this past winter. I'm running with radflo coilovers. What do you guys and gals figure the most likely culprit is? Also, can anyone suggest a good shop in Edmonton that can diagnose and repair aftermarket suspension?

Was this Arie's truck? Any signs of oil on the shock pistons?

If you reset your tire pressure during the cold winter, you should check it again now that it's warm outside. I find a 5 PSI difference between winter and summer. That 5 extra PSI in the summer makes the truck ride a bit harsh on the winter damaged roads, and we got plenty of them here in NJ.

I'll take a closer look tonight. Let's assume there is, would that mean the shocks need to be rebuilt? Also, forgive my ignorance, I believe these are nitrogen filled, would that mean they also have oil?

And yes, this was Arie's truck. Bought it from him over a year ago now. I know you're in Calgary, but any recommendations for a good shop in Edmonton?

Yeah, most likely.

Yup, they'll have both nitrogen and oil in the shock body. The good news is it usually isn't that expensive to have them rebuilt.

I don't know any shops in Edmonton at all unfortunately. Someone on Untitled Offroad might though so you could check there. Otherwise I'd see if Radflo has a list of dealers in Edmonton. One thing is that your shocks are the Overland Warehouse ones, so they're valved differently than standard Radflo shocks. If you like they way they ride you may want to get the OW rebuild kit directly from Radflo then bring that to whoever rebuilds them.
