What is the purpose of having the 12 circuit BlueSea fuse panel? Are those for other loads not being fed by the SwitchPro?
SwitchPro doesn’t really need fusing, it’s using mosfets and over-current monitor to disconnect the load. Plus its programmable, pretty nice little way to safe some coin and still offer fault protection.

The main - and most important function of the Mount Tray is the vertical mounting position of the power module in the engine bay. This is a installation requirement from Switch-Pros that they repeatedly have expressed.
That being said, you are correct, you do not run mods through the fuse block AND the Switch-Pros. The fuse block is there for connecting/fusing additional mods which require 'always on' electrical needs such as a refrigerator, ham radio, aux USB ports, etc.

I’m familiar with the mounting requirements of this unit… I considered a NEMA enclosure as well.
I was just curious why people would opt for a 12 circuit dual buss panel in addition to the switch pro (just making sure others understand it’s not required).
I don’t have THAT many aux circuits in the truck, but those that might require always on I would consider just running those through the SP as well and program it accordingly. The main reason being that you would not require a separate external LVD like the BlueSea m-LVD I am currently using for battery protection and separate switches.
True, there are certain loads I would not want fed enough the 9100, so, I could understand wanting another panel. That said, instead of the ST Blade 12, I would consider the smaller 6 circuit, or better yet the Safety Hub.
If you built a tray that can accommodate the SafteyHub 100 or 150, it would be a nice combo as you can protect much larger loads in a convenient manner. Just a thought.

The Fuse block Mount Tray has holes in it for the ST Blade 6 circuit as well. I am simply trying to accommodate as many people as possible. At first glance the SafetyHub appears to fit dimensionally speaking. I do have a Blank Mount Tray as well where the user can drill holes to install preference specific electrical components.
For the purpose of the discussion could you elaborate on what else is convenient about the SafeyHub and what would compliment it on the Tray designed around it ? Such as an additional BusBar - or lack there-of....

Here are a few pics of my install, I still have to tidy things up a bit and reroute the battery and ground cables but all in all it came out pretty good. Install was very straight forward and pretty easy. I would definitely recommend this plate to anyone with a switch-pro.

Where the SP9100/ST stops, the SafteyHub starts. There is too much service overlap between the SP 9100 and ST. For the purpose of discussion both only support up to 30A max.
ST – 30A max per circuit
9100 (4) 35A, (4) 25A
SafteyHub offers MIDI/AMI fusing from 30 to 200 amps in addition to a handful of 20-30A circuits which would allow for the same functionality as the 6 or 12 slot ST. This would be ideal for larger loads like a large air compressor, DC-AC inverter, protected run for interior sub panel, or anything else you might decide to use.

By any chance are you working on a mounting solution for 2020 versions since they added the relay box where this mounts?

Hi there !
I saw the new fuse box there. The attachment point for it is how I attach my Mount Tray. It will not fit, but I am hoping to have a design soon. If you're in the North San Diego area, I could use a model !!! PM me if someone is in my area.
