T&H Low Bull bar lighting

Where were you a month ago? :p

I was going to go with PIAA 2100XTs if this didn't work. Apparently, PIAA (and most others) measure the dimensions of their lights with the brackets. Hella doesn't.
 
I've only been a member for a short time. When I met you, you had already purchased those lights from ebay. Sorry Bud!

Just messin with ya :D.

I got the Hellas for dirt cheap so it's a good experiment. The PIAAs are measured with the bracket so they should work fine. I'll pick those up if this doesn't work.

looks good. are those yellow, blue or white? how's the output compared to the stock fogs? or are those driving lights? thanks for the pics!

The pics aren't great, but they serve the purpose. Thanks a lot. That really gives me a good idea how they'll look on mine. I can't wait to see the other pics.
 
Toyotadude77 - They look good! I should've gotten those in the first place.

I installed the Hella FF75s this morning but they don't work. I don't know what's wrong but I didn't have enough time to troubleshoot the problem. I'll probably look at it again tonight or some time this week. I'll post pics of the lights installed later tonight.
 
Other than they don't work, they look great on there.

I have the power connected directly to the battery. There's an aux power that's tapped into an unused 12v source inside where the switch is. I checked that there is power to the line when the ignition is on. The relay has a fuse and that's not blown. I'm thinking the lights might be bad. I guess that's why they were so cheap.
 
They still don't work but here's some pics.

I used the wiring kit that came with the V1. I did a quick writeup on the install but forgot to take pics most of the time b/c it was cold and I couldn't figure out how/where the wiring would go.

Thanks. I like the way they look on there too. Hopefully, I'll get them to work sometime this month. As you can tell, it took a while for me to even get them on :D.
 
It's the V1 Remote Display. All the alerts and sounds come from it instead of the V1 itself. This prevents the V1 to be visually detected from outside your car.
 
That is a great idea. Did that come with the unit or was that a seperate purchase? And is it to low to see?

I feel almost stupid posting this but it was a grounding issue. I originally had it ground to part of the radiator which looked like it was connected to the frame but it wasn't. I moved it over to a bolt on the frame and it works. I haven't had a chance to test them out at night but they look pretty bright even at dusk. No, I didn't drive around with them on because they're not aimed and I don't want to blind on-coming traffic.

I'll post pics when I can.
 
Ok, so I was impatient and went out to align them. They are pretty bright.
