I still have to install my super bumps. I sheared off the bolt trying to get the stock driver side out. Going to have to figure something out for that....
You're running the super bumps up front? How do you like them?I did the same thing and managed to get ahold of it from the top side and used a lot of pb blast and a propane torch to heat it up and a set of vise grips and screwed it out the top rather than the bottom. its a tight fit and a pain to do it but it beat drilling and tapping the hole
I trimmed the plastic, but it is all stock in there. I painted all the black with chassis saver from harbor freight. I sprayed rust converter on the frame after using a wire wheel in it first.Yes man! This looks so good! What did you use on the inner fender wells? Do you use the plastic liners that came stock?

That's cool. I haven't really bottomed my front out, do the rear to often though. Want to buy rear ones in the future.one of the best things I did. not only did it soften the blow from racing around the river beds but it helped with some of the tire rubbing I was getting on the fenders.

My rubbing stopped with spc uca's I just installed and an alignment. Of course I've trimmed a shit ton too.
Now that they aren't rubbing I'll feel more comfortable beating on it a little harder. Lol
I put them in position D, which is the +2 degrees setting. I told them I wanted 4* of caster and camber to be as close to 0* as possible. I have a slight pull to the left, but I'm thinking it is my tires. My bushings were so sloppy I think the tires wore funny. What setting did you set the upper arms at? I hadn't really thought to try adjusting the caster to fix that problem and the local alignment shops kinda suck. this might help with its handling also.
I'm running 35's. Bilstein on top notch, 2.5 inch body lift.mine are set on D also I will have to go home and see if I can find the alignment sheet from the last alignment and see exactly what it was set at
But then again I also went a little tall on the tire compared to most of the others with this style lift.
The only problems I've ever seen with them is that if they get loose the allow extra leverage on the bushings and destroy the body quickly. I like that the on I bought they provide lock nuts, but I retorqued them afterwords. I need to do it again just to make sure as its been almost a year now.Ya I did everything I could to avoid a body lift. Never been a fan of them even on my other toyotas.

You could always get an FJ 6" lift! I plan on that down the road. Lol or a SAS.
That's the exact axles I have been looking at. Strong, good aftermarket support!Goal is sas in the long run I have a set of 05 f350 dana 60 front and sterling 10.5 rear sitting in the garage waiting for the wife to get a new daily drive so I can play with this one
Sweet, I'll check it out.here is the thread I was talking about a lot of b.s. but also a lot of good info.

Out sucked sooooooo bad! Tons of cutting and prying and cussing...Looks like a royal pain in the ass to get everything in with all the frozen stuff down there, looks good as always man!
