i LOVE to see the hate hahhaha cant wait to make a stop by RSG and drool. we all know IFS sucks for everything but driving fast. i didnt buy my 4runner to go fast. my SAS'ed 1st gen on leaf springs is comfortable for my liking, im sure a linked 5th gen would be plenty fine.
and for a shop to do it... brag on. thats what their doing it for... to demonstrate their capabilities to encourage new customers. i bet it works. Ive never had RSG do anything but from what i've seen, i want to. their custom sPod panel for the 5th gen was absolutely insane... didn't see em braggin' about that one tho.

Here's that sPod custom mount.. We relocated the mirror switch and took the screen apart on the sPod to mount it but it looks nice and works well!

That was a bit of sarcasm. Steve has been around the block and done solid axle swaps in the past. He knows his stuff.
Just poking fun at users that say they "build" toyota's. When really they are just bolting on a bunch of aftermarket parts. And as [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] said, they usually document their floor mats and window tint. That made me laugh.

I chatted with you on FB. Awhile back about a custom HAM radio mount (also attended the venture overland gathering) after seeing this, I think you guys will get the job. I'm looking at the center mount clock and realizing how useless it is. More to follow.

I believe they are...they posted a pic on their FB page a little while ago installing beadlocks. These aren't the same wheel, but I'm guessing they are both TrailReady slim rings...?

If it's like the mutant green Ultimate FJC, this thing will be the tits.
Not sure yet and we really don't want to speculate a dollar figure until it is finished - there's also many "options" that could affect the price. Our tech, Justin, will be performing the majority of the work. We're sourcing many of the parts from several vendors - an actual "kit" may never exist and any future builds will change based on our customers' wishes. And THANKS, we appreciate the excitement and support!!!
