Which UCA's for my 2015 TEP w/KDSS???

Taking delivery of a new Black 2015 TEP on Thursday and I've been lurking here for a few weeks since I ordered her coming up with ideas and advice for the build.

I've decided to use polls to help me determine the best of each aspect of the build, starting with the UCA's.

The truck is going to be a daily driver (35-40k highway miles a year)
I intend to lift it, but no more than about 2-2.5"

If you're only going up 2-2.5" you may be able to stick with the stock UCA's, unless you're planning on going extended travel? What suspension are you looking at/thinking about?

I was originally planning on an all Icon VS 2.5 Extended Travel Lift System, but after reading about Progressive vs. Digressive shocks on this forum, I decided to rethink the whole system and see if the forum members through poll, could design kind of the ultimate T4R.org System??

Also, seeing that the Camburg UCA's had a larger (stronger?) ball, I wondered if that was the way to go for UCA's?

I'd also like to keep my options open, in case I ultimately end up at 3".

Icon Tubular is my vote. You get the strength and articulation of a uniball and you can protect it with a cap for half the price of the Icon Billets. Total chaos are great but the top of the uniball can't be protected due to the design.

Had them on my FJC, will run them again on my 4Runner.
 
I like Total Chaos, mainly for the stainless uniball's potential longer service life without squeaks.

Mine have @45K, pretty hard miles, and are still silent with no play. My previous LR/SPC arms with the "newest" bushings were squeaking and one of the ball joints was bad in far fewer miles.

I'm not terribly concerned with strength of either the arms or uniballs, as the LCAs do all of the heavy lifting in a double wishbone setup like we have.
 
Your stock UCA's will be the most reliable and maintenance free. If you are only lifting 2" you don't need UCAs unless you just want pretty. Why start with UCA's? Why don't you make these decisions yourself? You trust a bunch of old guys on the internet who still live with their mom in the basement to design your mods? You are a braver (or something) man than I am. Clark's Family truckster comes to mind.

Because knowing myself, I will probably eventually end up at 3".

I'm just asking about the UCAs first, I'm buying/installing all the parts at the same time. I just figured to break the discussion of system components down I would poll the UCAs, then the shocks separately.

As far as asking the guys on the forum, I thought it the best place to get input from guys who actually owned, used and had experience with the different brands. Sometimes I suffer from analysis paralysis and opinions from those with experience is what I sought.
 
Total Chaos - fit, finish, quiet, stainless Uniball, a few drops of tri-flo at oil changes and they keep being flawless with 25K on them.

I vote: TC, but guys have liked pretty much all of the ones you mentioned...

People seem to be more coarse on forums lately. Life is too short and I prefer to make friends than lose them.
